Ray White Willaston Opens for Business with Christmas Festivities

By Kylie Mahoney

Long time Gawler locals Peter Souter and Kylie Duffield have teamed up to open the brand new Ray White Willaston in South Australia with a big grand opening on Thursday 10th December expected to see up to 100 people celebrate and get into the festive spirit.

Both Peter and Kylie are well known in the region thanks to their time with the successful Ray White Group.

Peter adds 30 years of local business know how to the mix after previously owning and running a hotel and restaurant in the Gawler region, before embarking on a successful real estate career. While Kylie adds a corporate touch, after looking after more than 100 brokers across South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory for Loan Market several years ago, she also adds an impressive property management history which saw her win the 2012 Property Manager of the year award for South Australia.

With over 20 years combined real estate experience, the pair decided it was time to branch out and create their own business.

“The Ray White brand is strong, as is the training and development model. We want to get back to basics,” said Peter. “Our focus is going to be on servicing our clients, whether it be property management, selling their home or getting them finance. It’s going to be a package deal when they come to Ray White Willaston,” he said.

With Kylie’s goal to grow the property management side of the business, Peter will be focussing on selling and building the investment side.

They will be joined by Loan Market stars Ben Burnett and Nathan Brand, and local IT and marketing guru Sam Mercer, and they intend on using the tools and resources Ray White has on offer to grow the business quickly.

“One of our main goals is to be strong in our communication channels and reach the right people with the right message,” said Kylie. “We want to understand our clients and what their needs are so that we can deliver a seamless experience.”

She also added that the Ray White network is an unrivaled tool to success, and the team looks forward to collaborating and supporting their fellow Ray White offices across the state and the nation to provide the ultimate customer experience, especially as the Gawler and Barossa region see significant growth.

“The growth and opportunity the Gawler and Barossa region has to offer is immense,” said Peter. “There is a $20million government plan for a massive Coles in Roseworthy and an additional 500 homes. The projected population growth over the next 10 years will be significant.”

“There is so much activity happening within Gawler, that we see the need for good strong agents and a heavy presence for the up and coming growth of the area,” Kylie added.

The Ray White Willaston team have a busy December with their grand opening on Thursday 10th December kicking things off at 4pm with drinks and canapes, and as Christmas fast approaches, the team are proud to be part of the famous A Little Ray of Giving Christmas campaign, and are adding to the festive season by cooking a Christmas barbeque for St Vincent de Pauls Food Van Gawler on December 17.

Come and help the team celebrate their grand opening, and drop a Christmas gift under the tree for a disadvantaged child while you’re there. 1 Main North Road Willaston.
