Organisation and research skills are second nature to Office Administrator, Lauren Renton, who managed to plan her wedding in a week and is known as a ‘pocket rocket’ for her high energy levels.

The middle child of a blended family of five, who was born at Lyell McEwin Hospital at Elizabeth, Lauren went to school at Broadmeadows, Munno Para and then to high school at Craigmore – so she’s always lived in the northern suburbs.

You would never know from Lauren’s previous 19-year career in pharmacy, and her polished presentation, that this mother of two is more interested in cars and football than she is about fashion and beauty.

In fact, sport has always been a big part of Lauren’s life, she’s had a lifelong love of playing netball, only taking a break from the game in recent years, following the arrival of children Lucas, aged 10 and Ava, five.

Fitness is a big part of the whole family’s lifestyle, with Lauren, husband Matt and the kids, also taking their caravan to locations near The Murray River to enjoy knee boarding, wakeboarding and boating.

When the family isn’t travelling with their ‘home on wheels,’ in tow, they have a permanent residence in the picturesque suburb of Hewett, where they’ve lived for the past seven years.

“Hewett is peaceful, has great views and walking trails, it has a country feel while still being in suburbia,” Lauren said. “Everyone is friendly, it’s a good place for families and everything is within walking distance.”

Lauren is delighted to join the team at Ray White Gawler | Willaston as she was seeking a new professional challenge.

“Real estate has been in the back of my mind,” Lauren said. “It has always interested me; we have an investment property ourselves. When this position came up, I knew it was my chance to pursue a new career path.”

Outside work, Lauren is known for her thrifty online shopping skills and on weekends, the whole family enjoys a meal out at a choice of local eateries. As a true local, Lauren finds it difficult to choose just one café but nominates nearby Vadoulis Garden Centre for breakfast and the food at Vintage Chef Co at Lyndoch, as being all-time favourites.
